On voit beaucoup d'images de la nébuleuse d'Orion (M42), mais dans beaucoup de cas, le coeur est saturé et on ne distingue pas les étoiles du trapèze. Dans quelques cas, on voit un peu les 4 principales étoiles de ce trapèze (repérées A, B, C et D sur le schéma).
Mais au dela de ces 4 étoiles, il y en a d'autres plus petites et très proches des étoiles les plus brillantes et il est très difficile de les séparer avec nos instruments amateurs (étoiles repérées E à H sur le schéma).

Pour arriver à séparer les petites étoiles, il faut s'affranchir de la turbulence de l'atmosphère. J'ai réalisé une série de 628 images avec SharpCap, avec des poses de 380ms avec l'ASI2400MC sur le newton de 300 f/d 4. La zone de capture du trapèze était de 1280 x 1024 pixels.
Le prétraitement a été réalisé avec Astro Pixel Processor en mode drizzle 3. Le traitement a été effectué avec Pixinsight.

Les 6 étoiles A à F sont bien résolues et les étoiles G à I apparaissent très légèrement.

We see many images of the Orion Nebula (M42), but in many cases, the core is saturated and we cannot distinguish the stars from the trapezium. In some cases, we can see a little of the 4 main stars of this trapezium (marked A, B, C and D in the diagram).
But beyond these 4 stars, there are others smaller and very close to the brightest stars and it is very difficult to separate them with our amateur instruments (stars marked E to H on the diagram).
